Daibhi Armitage's Review: Racer, Rest, Navigation & Studs Kits

We were lucky enough to have two wonderful articles written by Daibhi after playing with a selection of the Thumb Soldiers kits.

The links will take you to the full articles on GamerHub, but we've also included a few snippets to give you a feel below and with a Conclusion like this, we're so chuffed:

"Get them. Just go out and get them...Seriously, I really love these and strongly recommend them, regardless of your abilities."

Article 1: Thumb Soldiers Or thumb war?

Daibhi's review of the Racer Kit soldiers and how great they are for racing games (Gran Turismo & WreckFest):

"...the wheel peripheral was quickly becoming my favourite bits of tech I’ve ever received in this job."

"WreckFest, is what happens when you take a demolition derby game and mix it with Pimp My Ride. Thumb Soldiers really helped with me playing this online, with my gameplay significantly enhanced... Huzzah!"

And Non Racing games (Marvel’s Spider-Man 2) alike:

"...Thumb Soldiers’ racing wheel allows me to make those precision turns and crazy acrobatics with a lot more ease."

"Thumb Soldiers doesn’t exactly break the bank and in the meantime, allows for some truly great and accessible gaming. For me, it’s a no-brainer..."

Article 2: Thumb Soldiers Part Deux

"...Hogwarts Legacy with this and play quidditch, you’re in for a treat. The broomsticks in this game are notoriously difficult to control.... Navigation Kit makes this a lot easier to control and before you know it, I’m catching the Golden Snitch in record time."

"...with Luigi's Mansion 3 on the Nintendo Switch...the Albatross (from the Rest Kit) makes capturing ghosts a lot easier. It allows you to use your palms, fists or even your wrists to control your character."

"This (Shroom) attachment makes movement much lighter, and it helps you to move your characters better. No more thumb strain and aches in your hands, the shroom is amazing."

"...NBA 24. Why? The Pro Stick way of shooting really work better with the Thumb Soldiers Studs Kit."
